Proper Handwashing Procedure
There are "5" steps to properly washing your hands; which takes approximately 20 seconds to complete:
1. Wet your hands with warm running water. It should be at least 100 F (38 C).
2. Apply enough soap to build up a good lather.
3. Vigorously scrub hands and arms for 10 to 15 seconds. Clean under fingernails and between fingers.
4. Rinse hands and arms thorougly under running water.
5. Dry hands and arms with a single-use paper towel or warm-air hand dryer.
*Be careful not to recontaminate your hands, use a paper towel to turn off the faucet and to open the door when leaving the restroom.*
